Maxx Crosby Trade Rumor Involving Another NFL Superstar Has The Entire Internet Flipping Out

NFL fans flipped out over a fake Maxx Crosby report on Tuesday.

The defensive end was Baltimore-bound after the Ravens agreed to send two first-round picks to the Las Vegas Raiders. However, the deal did not materialize, with the Ravens pulling out, reportedly over health concerns. 

Sources have named a new asking price for the Pro Bowler, though Crosby has made it clear that he plans to remain in Vegas. 

Wesley Steinberg, a parody account on X, got some fans to bite after claims that the Raiders were nearing a trade for Crosby that would land them A.J. Brown.

“BREAKING: #Eagles and #Raiders are close on a trade that would see WR AJ Brown and DE Maxx Crosby swap teams alongside draft pick compensation,” he wrote.

“That’s a blockbuster in the making . AJ Brown and Maxx Crosby swapping teams with draft picks involved. Both sides could see a huge impact,” someone wrote in the comments.

“How would that work?  Would it happen after June 1 somehow?” one fan asked.

“Makes a ton of sense for both teams assuming the draft capital isn’t wildly different,” another claimed.

Of course, not everyone fell for the fake report.

“Same dude that said Jalen Carter got benched for watching porn btw,” someone pointed out.

“How do people continue to fall for this fake account?” someone else wondered.

Eagles Agree Free Agent Signing

Meanwhile, the Eagles have gotten some real business done involving another wide receiver named Brown.

According to Jordan Schultz, the NFC East champions have agreed terms on a one-year deal with Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. 

The 28-year-old comes in as a replacement for Jahan Dotson, who joined the Atlanta Falcons in free agency last week. 

Brown is expected to play behind A.J. and DeVonta Smith, should the former stick around. 

He caught 49 passes for 587 yards and five touchdowns for the Kansas City Chiefs last season. 

He could feature a whole lot more than currently expected if the Eagles deal the other Brown away.
