The NFL made a controversial decision regarding Tiger Woods. The league, in its intent to expand the game, is backing a new professional flag football league. It has Tom Brady and Serena Williams among a plethora of celebrity investors.
The announcement excited plenty of people, but it was surprising to see a big name suspiciously absent: Tiger Woods.
Amid rumors about his availability for the upcoming Masters, Woods was involved in a rollover crash in Jupiter Island, Florida. Police arrived at the site and arrested him for eight hours before somebody bailed him out.
NFL Ignores Tiger Woods Amid Major Announcement

TMRW Sports, a tech-minded sports entertainment company co-founded by Tiger Woods, launched the NFL-backed flag-football competition the league announced on Monday.
The league’s final press release mentioned multiple people, including Pro Football Hall of Famers Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Larry Fitzgerald and Eli Manning, as well as current players, such as Arik Armstead, Bobby Wagner and Russell Wilson.
Woods was nowhere to be found, which raised suspicions about the reason behind this decision. He is one of the co-founders of the company who developed TGL, a primetime team golf league.
