Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini are in deep. Eyeballs deep in drama, possibly previously deeply in love, and in deep doodoo at home.

While Vrabel has escaped unscathed where his paymasters are concerned, Russini is now without a job.

She resigned from her post at The Athletic once the first wave of photos surfaced. And she’s since been accused of tanking Julio Jones’ value so the Tennessee Titans could get him without losing a first-round pick.

Tony Farmer, the podcaster who pointed this out, has been on the case since the beginning.

He’s now suggesting that Russini could have helped Vrabel secure a huge financial incentive, given that she had a Coach of the Year vote.

Vrabel won the award last season, and there’s no doubting that he deserved it. He came this close to winning the Super Bowl in his first year with the New England Patriots.

It’s unlikely that Russini would have voted for anyone else, given the above, as well as what we know now.

“It’s possible Mike Vrabel had an incentive in his contract for winning COTY. Coach contracts aren’t as public as player contracts,” Farmer shared to X this weekend.

“Since Dianna Russini had a COTY vote, this is a question the media should be asking:

“Did Vrabel make money from his COTY award like Josh Allen did ($1.5M) from his  MVP award when Dianna Russin told him she’d vote for him.”

“Why does this matter?” one fan asked. “If he got her vote then good for him. Schefter and Rappaport and all these other goons prob vote for people they are closest with as well.”

“because he may have been buying her gift (adults only resort in sedona, boat rentals etc.) there is no evidence of coaches buying those other guys gifts,” Farmer replied.

We can’t be sure that Vrabel had a COTY clause in his contract. But if he did, Russini may have helped him secure a bag.
