Terrell Owens Finally Reveals What Really Went Wrong With The Cowboys

Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens opened up about his experience playing for the Dallas Cowboys and how the relationship with the NFC East franchise soured. Owens entered the league after the San Francisco 49ers selected him with the No. 89 pick in the 1996 NFL draft.
After eight years in the Bay, Owens joined the Philadelphia Eagles, forming a terrific duo with quarterback Donovan McNabb. After two years in Philly, he joined the Dallas Cowboys.
Following three seasons with the Lone Star, the Cowboys released him. Two years later, Owens retired from the NFL. Despite securing All-Pro honors with the Cowboys, Owens doesn’t have the best memories of his time in Dallas.
Terrell Owens Takes A Shot At Jerry Jones While Discussing Relationship With Cowboys

During a conversation with Kyle Odegard of Action Network, Terrell Owens made it clear that he wasn’t interested in anything Jerry Jones was doing.
“I couldn’t care less about Jerry and what he’s doing,” Owens said.
Additionally, he explained why he’s not on good terms with the Cowboys.
“I don’t concern myself with the Cowboys,” Owens said. “The Cowboys haven’t concerned themselves with me since I left there. That’s speaking of Jerry Jones or anybody really from that organization.”
He has no interest in burying the hatchet, either.
“No, not necessarily,” Owens said. “I couldn’t care less what’s going on with Jerry and the Cowboys. The way things ended there with the Cowboys, I couldn’t care less. I have nothing to say about them.”
He has done well without the Cowboys, but it feels that he would be better off having a cordial relationship with the franchise.
