NFL Fans Went Into Meltdown Over Trevor Lawrence’s Hair — Then The Truth Came Out [PHOTOS + VIDEOS]

So Trevor Lawrence didn’t cut his hair, and fans are relieved.

The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback was the subject of a brutal social media roast on Thursday after the team used him for its schedule release. 

Lawrence appeared to sit down in a barber’s chair before getting his locks chopped off.

The Jaguars also announced that AI had nothing to do with the makeover.

While they were honest in that regard, it hardly meant the whole thing wasn’t fake.

Lawrence’s real hair was safely tucked under a wig cap while the barber snipped faux strands.

The Jags have since posted a video showing how the whole thing played out.

Fans Are Happy Trevor Lawrence’s Haircut Was Nothing More Than A Prank

Fans were quick to share their thoughts on Lawrence’s haircut when they thought it was real. They did not hide their relief after finding out it was not.

It appears that fans can count on Lawrence keeping his hair long for the rest of his career.

The QB did note that his wife prefers him with long hair.

“Marissa likes it longer too, she’s seen me with short hair, she’s known me forever, so she doesn’t want me to cut it,” he explained, “I just don’t even know what I’d do, like what style, it’s just easier to do what you’ve always done.”

So there you have it, Trevor Lawrence has been marked safe from short hair, for now and the foreseeable future.
