Jalen Hurts surprised the NFL world on Saturday when he revealed his political affiliation. New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart caused a stir on Friday when he attended a Donald Trump rally in New York.

More than that, he introduced the president to the crowd.

“What’s up, what’s up, what’s up. Look, Big Blue Nation it’s a pleasure to be here,” Dart said. “And without further ado, I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America: President Donald J. Trump.”

Dart’s actions resulted in a potential beef with teammate Abdul Carter, who called him out on social media. Additionally, it seemingly prompted Jalen Hurts to reveal his political affiliation.

“Proud democrat,” the Philadelphia Eagles star wrote in a now-deleted Instagram story.

As realistic as the post looked, it was fake. X account “NFL Drop,” a satire account, shared the image.

Hurts has maintained a nonchalant gimmick during his NFL career, so it’s hard to imagine him revealing his political preference just like that. Meanwhile, he continues to prepare for the 2026 season after a disappointing 2025 campaign.
