Matt LaFleur discussed the Josh Jacobs situation on Wednesday. The veteran running back was arrested on Tuesday and booked into jail for multiple charges.

The situation reportedly stemmed from a Saturday complaint. Jacobs faces charges of battery (domestic abuse, criminal damage to property), domestic abuse, disorderly conduct (domestic abuse, strangulation and suffocation) and intimidation of a victim.

Besides the ongoing investigation by authorities, the NFL will likely conduct its own, which could result in punishment for Jacobs.

Addressing the media on Wednesday, LaFleur refused to add to what the team already said in a statement. The Packers said they were aware of the situation but wouldn’t offer more comments at the time.

“I’m gonna stick with the statement that we put out as an organization and just let the process play out,” LaFleur said.

The Packers have been linked with a couple of players to replace Jacobs, including Arizona Cardinals star James Conner. However, LaFleur refused to entertain the idea of adding another running back.
