A photo of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley with U.S. President Donald Trump is drawing attention again over a year later.

The POTUS seems to stir up trouble around an NFC East player every offseason. Last year, it was Barkley. This time around, it’s Jaxson Dart.

Barkley spent time with Trump after helping the Eagles win the Super Bowl last season, golfing with the President and visiting him at the White House.

Dart, who’s coming off his rookie season with the New York Giants, fell out of favor in the court of public opinion after introducing Trump at a rally last week. He also fell afoul of some of his teammates, with fellow second-year star Abdul Carter criticizing him on social media.

The Giants held a meeting on Thursday in which the quarterback addressed the team. 

“Giants QB Jaxson Dart addressed teammates in a meeting yesterday to discuss his introduction of President Trump last week, sources tell me and @RapSheet,” NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported.

“Other team leaders spoke up as well, and Dart and the players worked through it. They are moving forward.”

“Did Saquon Barkley have to address teammates?” one fan asked.

“Again he probably told people he was going. This dude told no one. It’s the secrecy that makes it weird,” someone suggested in the comments.

“No bc apparently Eagle fans could give two f**ks about someone’s political views. Rightfully so, all they care about is winning. I don’t understand what the selective outrageous about when the Giants own coach last year was with Trump in the White House. It’s all bulls**t,” someone else chimed in.

One user claimed that, “Giants have 99 problems. President Donald J Trump, isn’t one of them. Giants finished 4-13 last season.”

Ironically enough, Carter was not at the meeting. Reports claimed he had informed the Giants that he would be away for family matters beforehand.
