Travis Kelce gave fans another reason to talk about his future with Taylor Swift as wedding hype around the couple keeps growing.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made everyone wonder after he liked an Instagram clip from the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast. In the video, hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan joked about whether Swift would take Kelce’s last name after marriage. One guest argued that Swift’s global fame could make Kelce the one changing his name instead.
The hosts tossed around a few playful ideas before landing on a hyphenated option.
“No, you gotta go Swift-Kelce — Travis Swift-Kelce,” they said in the clip.
Everyone picked up on Kelce’s social media activity. Many saw the move as another sign that the couple enjoys leaning into public jokes about their relationship while keeping most real details private.
Reports continue to point toward a July 3 wedding in New York City, though neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed the plans publicly. TMZ reported that Swift personally called several guests with invitations. Reports also suggest the ceremony will stay highly private.
Wedding Plans Draw Big Names From Sports And Entertainment

Several celebrities reportedly plan to attend the wedding. Page Six reported that actress Zoe Kravitz remains on the guest list despite recent rumors about tension between her and Swift.
Singer Ed Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, also reportedly received invitations. One source told the outlet, “To this day no one knows exactly who attended Ed Sheeran’s wedding, and that’s the model for this one. Total secrecy.”
The HAIM sisters reportedly plan to attend as well. Swift attended Este Haim’s wedding earlier this year. Actress and singer Suki Waterhouse also confirmed her plans during a recent interview with Variety.
“Nothing scarier than the actual planning part, right?” Waterhouse said while discussing wedding preparations.
On Kelce’s side, Chiefs coach Andy Reid shared his excitement for the couple during an appearance on Kansas City sports radio station 96.5 The Fan.
“If I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going,” Reid joked.
Reid also spoke warmly about the relationship.
“Those guys, I’m so happy for them,” Reid said. “They’re in love, and that’s the most important thing.”
Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, could serve as best man. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes also remains a strong possibility for the wedding party because of his close friendship with Kelce.
Kelce proposed to Swift in August 2025 after two years of dating. Since then, the couple has kept wedding details mostly quiet while public interest around the event continues to grow.
