The AJ Brown came to a much-needed end last week, when the Philadelphia Eagles sent him to the New England Patriots.

The Pats sent a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick in exchange for the veteran. Brown grew up watching the Patriots, and many thought it was a matter of time before he joined the AFC East organization.

True to his style, Brown said goodbye to the Eagles in a unique way. As sound as it might sound for him, not everybody would appreciate it.

During Tuesday’s edition of “Good Morning Football,” NFL insider Mike Garafolo reported that Brown visited the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday to collect his belongings and say goodbye. He signed a picture of himself on the wall, allegedly calling himself the team’s GOAT.

“From what I was told, he then added, ‘The best to ever play here. Always open,’” Garafolo said. “That signature is going to stay up on the wall. They may have to edit out the message.”

Brown recorded more than 1,000 yards in each of his four seasons with the Eagles. He became a Super Bowl champion last year, amid controversy surrounding his role in the offense.
