Maxx Crosby and the San Francisco 49ers have been linked with each other for a while now. After his failed trade to the Baltimore Ravens, plenty of teams emerged as candidates to land him.
The Dallas Cowboys were mentioned as a potential landing spot. The defending Super Bowl champions also emerged as a potential trade candidate. However, the 49ers and the Buffalo Bills remain the likeliest places for the veteran.
The NFC West team received a major update in the pursuit of Crosby.
San Francisco 49ers Could Make a Splash and Land Maxx Crosby

During a recent mailbag, NFL insider Albert Breer responded to a fan asking whether the 49ers would try to go for Crosby. Breer said he would wait a little before going for Crosby, but perhaps after seven weeks, they should have a clear picture.
“But if the Niners are, say, 6–1, and the Raiders are 1–6, and Crosby is balling out, that’s where, if I’m Lynch, I’m thinking about picking up the phone,” he wrote.
Crosby could have created a terrific duo with Trey Hendrickson in Baltimore. Now, he could do the same with Nick Bosa in San Francisco.
