Geno Smith had an encounter with Florida police three months before they were called to his house.

Smith is facing battery accusations, with an active investigation now open

The New York Jets quarterback got a visit from the cops on Sunday after a woman called 911 with claims of being beaten. She also alleged that Smith broke her laptop and took money from her car.

Prior to the incident, police had pulled Smith over in Davie, Florida.

The California Post has obtained bodycam footage of the QB’s interaction with lawmen, dating back to March.

Smith did not hide his frustration at being pulled over and wanted to know why he was stopped.

An officer explained that his car was carrying Lamborghini plates, although he was driving a Rolls-Royce.

Smith downplayed the discrepancy as a simple error.

“I’ve got a lot of cars, fam,” he said. “I probably switched the tag on the cars.”

Geno was insistent on finding out why the cops pulled him over, even after the explanation.

“But I’m saying, why’d you read my tag?” he asked. “You just wanted to? It’s a nice car and you just wanted to?”

“No, no, no,” the officer replied. “You read anybody’s tag. That’s my job. That’s my job, sir.”

“Do your job better,” Smith shot back.

The lawman issued him a citation for attaching tag not assigned and another for driver’s license not carried/exhibit on demand. He was allowed to proceed thereafter.

According to court records, Smith disposed of the matters in May.

As for his latest brush with the law, Davie police did not make an arrest and initially said that they were not investigating the report. However, they have since indicated that it’s been assigned for investigation.
