A significant personnel change at CBS has gripped social media following the arrest of Tony Romo.
Romo was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, specifically for operating while intoxicated (OWI), unsafe passing, and possession of an open container.
According to reports, deputies stopped Romo at around 5:30 p.m. while he was driving a black Jeep southbound on Interstate 43. He received three separate citations stemming from the incident.
Deputies noted that Romo smelled of alcohol, had “red, glassy eyes,” and struggled with his balance. After being moved to a safe location due to heavy rush-hour traffic, he performed poorly on a 14-minute standardized field sobriety test.
Romo was booked into the Milwaukee County Jail and released later that evening. Now, he has more issues.
