It was a scary scene during Friday’s episode of PFT Live when co-host Michael Holley fainted right in the middle of the live broadcast.
While host Mike Florio was talking, Holley started looking visibly uncomfortable, swaying in his chair before suddenly collapsing backward out of view. Florio immediately stopped the conversation and cut to a commercial break.
The whole incident left fans watching at home deeply concerned, but ProFootballTalk quickly share a reassuring update that Holley had recovered.
“On Friday’s @PFT_Live, Michael Holley became overheated and fainted in the studio in his home. We immediately went to a commercial break in order to get him assistance. Fortunately, Michael recovered quickly and is fine,” the outlet wrote on X.
Fans React After Positive Update

After the show, Florio provided more details about what happened during an interview with Awful Announcing. He said Holley worked from his home studio, which had become very warm before the broadcast.
“Michael was in the studio at his home,” Florio said. “It’s very warm in there. He hadn’t had anything to eat or drink before the show. He became overheated during the show and passed out.”
Florio also explained why he did not immediately notice that something had gone wrong.
“I didn’t notice until he slumped in his seat, because I was looking at the camera, not the monitor,” Florio said. “We went to break right away to try to get him assistance, if he needed it. Fortunately, he recovered quickly and is fine.”
