The worst thing that has happened to Dianna Russini was not releasing pictures from the Mike Vrabel scandal. It has been the things that have come out of her own mouth. She loves to talk and share things about her life with anybody who will listen.

When Page Six first published photos of her and Vrabel holding hands and hugging, Russini claimed the photos were “taken out of context.” She also added that they were vacationing with a larger group of six people. This defense quickly unraveled when eyewitnesses came forward to confirm the two were completely alone.

No evidence or photos ever materialized of the alleged “friends.” Russini originally attempted to explain her presence in Sedona away from the NFL league meetings as a “girls’ hiking trip.”

Her excuse fell apart when additional bombshell photos surfaced showing her and Vrabel kissing at a New York City bar in 2020.

The viral police bodycam footage featuring a New England traffic stop is the gift that keeps on giving. Initially, the media focused almost entirely on the interactions with law enforcement.

Russini directly exposes that she fabricated a viral anecdote about FaceTiming an NFL head coach to get out of a traffic ticket. However, viewers are now shifting their attention to what she said to an officer that was previously ignored. Dianna, unknowingly, told the cop what time she had departed from Foxboro. Given the history we know of her and Mike Vrabel, this was a huge piece of information.

During the recorded interaction, the officer asks for an updated driver’s license. Immediately, Russini responds by explaining her extensive morning drive through difficult weather conditions. Specifically, she states that she traveled through heavy snow for over five hours. Because the traffic stop occurred at 9:43 a.m., her timeline suggests a departure from Foxboro in the very early hours of the morning.

“Dianna Russini apparently left Foxboro around 4 a.m. the morning of the infamous Kevin O’Connell bodycam footage. The media focused on the KOC angle instead of the fact that she said she left Foxboro the morning after a big Patriots win. Did anyone else point this detail out?” one post asked.

Russini is unlikely to face any additional backlash since she has long quit her job at The Athletic.
