The USA Wheelchair Football League Phoenix Tournament Championship recently concluded with an incredibly dominant athletic performance.

You read all of that correctly. There is a wheelchair league where players take things very seriously on the field of play.

A few clips of the championship game have made the rounds, and now many fans are wondering why we aren’t funding this.

Rams Beat the Bills to Win the 2026 Wheelchair Football League Phoenix Title

Six elite adaptive football teams from across the nation gathered to compete at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Move United hosted the competitive event in partnership with Ability360 and the local Abilities Expo. Fans packed the venue over the multi-day tournament to watch the sport’s top athletes battle.

The highly anticipated title match ultimately featured a fierce showdown between two major adaptive football powerhouse programs. The Los Angeles Rams wheelchair football team faced off against the talented Buffalo Bills squad.

Historically, any team named the Buffalo Bills has not done well in championship games.

The Rams started the game slightly slower than expected before two quick interceptions completely shifted the momentum.

“Well, for the first quarter, we came out a little slower than we wanted to, but we got two quick interceptions. And that really swung the momentum off of those interceptions, where we went down and immediately scored two touchdowns,” says Rams player Marcus Oden. “And from there, we just kept our foot on the gas pedal. Tried to pull away.”

The Los Angeles offense capitalized on those defensive turnovers to score multiple rapid-fire touchdowns to take control of the contest.

Social Media Loved The Rams QB

The USA Wheelchair Football League is all the craze on social media this week. These guys take the league seriously. One player even got ejected for unnecessary roughness during the championship game.

One player who stole the entire show was the Rams QB. His passes caught the attention of everyone who watched the highlight clips.

“Rams QB was slinging that peel, one fan said.

“Matthew Stafford, you better ball out next game 😭,” a second person wrote.

“That 1st throw was a dot 🔥,” a third person stated.

“Wheeli Manning can sling it,” one final fan commented.

The Rams kept their foot on the gas pedal to extend their massive lead throughout the game. Ultimately, the Los Angeles Rams captured the championship trophy by securing a stunning 42-0 shutout victory.
