Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy heavily roasted Caleb Williams for his extreme emotional reaction following his Week 2 hamstring injury.

He mocked the quarterback by calling him a “thespian” and comparing the scene to an acting studio. Specifically, Portnoy pointed out that Williams acted as if he had torn his ACL and MCL. He explicitly questioned the intense medical drama, stating, “The man tweaked his hammy… what are we doing here?”

Williams saw what he said and fired back with a repost. The reposted comment was a fan account that wrote, “The guy that had a kid arrested and expelled from school for throwing pennies at him is calling someone else soft LMFAOOOOOO.”
