Lamar Jackson Takes Nasty Shot At Dallas Cowboys Ahead Of Week 3 Matchup In Brazil

The Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys will play their Week 3 match on foreign soil. It will be a battle of two star QBs, the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson and the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott.

Both teams sport a 1-1 record, too. There’s no doubt that this will be the top game this week. But both teams are still trying to add more pieces as the 2026 season continues.

The Ravens are in desperate need of additional WR depth. The Cowboys, on the other hand, aren’t reportedly done tweaking their roster. As their matchup approaches, pundits have paid closer attention to their bout in Rio de Janeiro.

Lamar Jackson Pokes Fun At Cowboys

Speaking to reporters ahead of their Week 3 clash in Brazil, Jackson was asked about the Cowboys’ defense and why their foes are called ‘America’s Team’. 

The two-time NFL MVP winner decided to have some fun when he answered the question.

“Yes, but this is America. That is Brazil,” Lamar Jackson said, according to a post from The Athletic’s Jon Machota. 

That’s a hilarious response from the Ravens’ superstar QB. He then followed it up with a more serious tone, even praising the Cowboys’ pass rushers.

“So we will see, we will see. But I have seen (the Cowboys) pass rushers – they are unbelievable. They get after the quarterback a lot and disrupt the pass game a lot. But, it is football at the end of the day, you know? We are just going to have to go out there and do what we (are) supposed to do,” Jackson added.

Dallas will undoubtedly have their hands full against Lamar Jackson. The Ravens’ QB is having himself a very nice start in 2026. So far, he has completed 67.9 percent of his passes.

Zay Flowers’ Status For Week 3 Remains Uncertain

One of Lamar Jackson’s favorite targets, Zay Flowers, remains uncertain to play in Week 3. He has currently dealt with a lingering hamstring injury. 

Coach Jesse Minter was a bit optimistic about the status of his star RB earlier this week. However, Flowers missed Wednesday’s practice as they prepare for their game against the Cowboys.

Rookie Ja’Kobi Lane remains out due to an injured wrist he sustained against the Colts. He has been placed on Injured Reserve.
