Four years after finalizing his divorce from ex Gisele Bündchen, the retired NFL star is dating again.

The former NFL quarterback’s new relationship with supermodel Candice Swanepoel has reportedly been going on for months. However, it does not appear that everyone in Swanepoel’s circle is happy about it.

Neither the FOX sports commentator nor the Victoria’s Secret angel has addressed their romance. Consequently, the news had some unattended consequences.

A new report is revealing that fellow Victoria’s Secret model Joan Smalls is upset about Candice Swanepoel dating Tom Brady. It has gotten so bad that she has given the pair’s mutual friends an ultimatum to pick a side.

Smalls has also seemingly taken several public swipes at her former friend, calling her a “backstabber.” Prior to the rumors, the women had been “inseparable” for 15 years.

At one point, Smalls was dating Brady, but Swanepoel gave her a hard time, repeatedly encouraging her to dump him. Now she is the one in a relationship with him. Smalls even commented on a post about their drama, “Two words: ‘SUMMER HOUSE!’ That’ll explain everything.”

Joan allegedly responded, “I’m not friends with backstabbers.” In a separate now-deleted message, Smalls said there “was no girl code.”

“And the disrespect and carelessness in how they treat you is so unimaginable. There’s no going back. Some people lack humility and moral compass,” she added.

“And the way they gaslight, lie and minimize your feelings is the worst slap in the face after 15yrs or friendship. Not a sorry said or written. Onwards and upwards!!!”

For Candice Swanepoel’s sake, she had better hope her new relationship works out. Otherwise, she would’ve lost a long friendship for nothing.
