Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has popped up in trade rumors since the 2025 NFL season. His issues with the way the offense worked increased the rumors, and this offseason seems like the closest he will be to leaving the two-time Super Bowl champion franchise.

On Monday, he was mentioned as a potential trade target for the New England Patriots. The move would reunite him with Mike Vrabel, his coach on the Tennessee Titans. Other destinations included the Buffalo Bills, who need a WR1 after Stefon Diggs left at the end of the 2023 season.

Despite a season filled with controversy, Brown recorded 78 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns. While those aren’t spectacular numbers, they still confirm that Brown is a reliable WR1 on almost every team around the league.

The latest twist in the A.J. Brown trade saga has some familiar faces as potential new teams for the former second-round pick. On Thursday, ESPN’s crew of Jeremy Fowler, Dan Graziano, Tim McManus, Ben Solak, and Seth Walder mentioned four squads that could propose a trade for the star wide receiver.

  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Cleveland Browns
  • New England Patriots

Brown was linked with four teams before. This time, however, McManus didn’t think that any of the trade proposals these teams would have to offer would suffice for the Eagles. They threw first-round picks in the mix, but only one won’t do the trick.

Even though Brown has created issues within the organization, they still rank him highly, and parting ways with him would take a lot.
