A video is going viral of a young quarterback completing jaw-dropping behind-the-back throws like clockwork.

You don’t have to be a professional to dazzle with elite athletic skills. For example, there are long drivers in golf, internet personalities who make ridiculous basketball trick shots and much more.

Recently, a video has surfaced of a young quarterback making insane behind-the-back throws while playing catch with a friend. The man and location are unclear, but NFL teams might want to try and figure it out.

Just look at how easy the guy makes these behind-the-back throws look with the simple flick of a wrist:

Hey, it wouldn’t hurt competitive football teams to see if he could play for them. If not, he should be offered an opportunity to coach. Imagine if he could show top high school or college quarterbacks how to make that throw?

If there’s one active NFL quarterback who can perfect the behind-the-back pass? It’s Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes. After all, the three-time Super Bowl champion made it look easy during a 2025 preseason game against the Detroit Lions:

The 30-year-old Patrick Mahomes has also mastered the art of throwing the ball with his left hand when the occasion calls for it. Obviously, his background in baseball has gone a long way.

How fun would it be to see Mahomes and this young man get together and work on their throws together? Easier said than done, but maybe the guy could show Mahomes how to get a little more velocity and distance on the behind-the-back pass.
