Dion Dawkins spent part of his offseason doing what Bills fans do best. The results are quickly making the rounds online.

Video shows the Buffalo offensive lineman lifting a shirtless fan onto his shoulders outside Highmark Stadium, surrounded by a cheering crowd filming on their phones. Dawkins then launches the fan directly through a folding table set up nearby, sending him crashing to the ground as the crowd erupts.

X account BillsMafiaBabes shared the clip with a simple caption: “Dion Dawkins is the gift that keeps on giving.”

Bills Mafia’s table-smashing ritual dates back roughly a decade, with fans jumping, diving, and occasionally getting hurled through folding tables at tailgates before games.

The tradition has grown large enough that Buffalo built a 20-foot broken table directly into the new Highmark Stadium, a permanent architectural tribute to the fan base’s chaotic pregame energy. The stunts haven’t always gone smoothly, either.

Fans have caught fire jumping through lit tables, knocked themselves out missing their landing, and once even sent an elderly bystander into hysterics watching from the sidelines.

Reaction to Dawkins’ joining in stayed largely lighthearted.

One fan poked fun at manufactured outrage, writing, “I can’t believe what I’m seeing. Dion Dawkins and Bills fans are size-ist! Look at him abuse that little guy in front of all those people. They should all be ashamed. The Bills should be canceled! Josh Allen paid Dawkins to do it. Someone should investigate, and someone owes someone a table!”

Another fan said, “Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen.”

A third claimed, “This is awesome!”

Dawkins has cultivated a close relationship with Bills Mafia throughout his career in Buffalo, even weathering a brief rough patch earlier this year after comments he made during a livestream appearance drew backlash from fans.

He quickly walked things back, reaffirming his commitment to the team and city.

Moments like Thursday’s tailgate stunt fit the persona Dawkins has built for himself since arriving in Buffalo, someone as invested in the fan culture as he is in the football itself.
