Joe Royer’s message to all teenage girls has resurfaced online amid what has been quite the week. 

The 24-year-old Cleveland Browns rookie has come under fire due to his supposed relationship with Rilee Stepp. 

Rilee, the daughter of Royer’s position coach in college, is 18.

The tight end, a fifth-round pick in 2026, worked under Josh Stepp at Cincinnati after transferring from Ohio State. 

Suspicions of a relationship with the TE coach’s daughter stem from his appearance in Rilee’s graduation photos. But there are many other signs, including a dance video they made together.

Social Media Split Over Joe Royer’s Alleged Relationship

They’ve posted an old video of Royer sending a message to teenage girls, letting them know what he will do to them once they turn 18.

“Don’t see a problem he’s telling them when they of age he will have sex with them not when they are under age,” someone commented.

“Dov, you are the only one making a big deal about this. Not saying its right, but age of consent is 16 in Ohio dumb*ss,” another user wrote.

“He can still f**k girls who are 16+ because that is the age of consent lol,” a third chimed in.

“Where did all the people go who were insisting this was totally normal a few days ago?” someone else asked.

“Time to get his laptop and phone this guy is a creep,” another comment read.

It appears the internet is split over this one. 

Of course, Royer wouldn’t have broken any laws by hooking up with an 18-year-old. That would be well past the age of consent in his state. 

Still, given the age gap and the fact that he’s now a pro, some find it disturbing. 

Meanwhile, Rilee has made all of her social media pages private.
