As good as his debut with the Buffalo Bills was, DJ Moore’s day did not end with a bang.
On the final snap against the Carolina Panthers, Moore injured his ankle. He had five catches, 100 receiving yards, and one touchdown as the Bills’ primary WR1.
He was what the team needed as they look forward to a successful 2026 season. However, when he fell down and grabbed his ankle, the injury initially looked serious for the 29-year-old.
DJ Moore Good To Go Ahead Of Game vs Lions

The Bills Mafia hoped that Moore’s ankle injury wasn’t as severe as it looked. Head coach Joe Brady provided an update to reporters after the contest, telling them that DJ Moore is “good to go.”
But now, it’s official. Moore is not included in the Bills’ injury report ahead of their clash against the Detroit Lions.

It’s good to know that his ankle injury wasn’t as serious as expected.
Truth be told, Josh Allen is still in his prime. However, Buffalo has not found a long-term partner for their star QB on offense. Based on Moore’s performance against the Panthers, he looked like the missing piece that this team sorely needs.
In their upcoming game against the Lions, Allen and Moore’s chemistry will be tested.
DJ Moore Won The Hearts Of Bills Fans

When Moore arrived via trade from the Bears, he took no time to endear himself to the Bills Mafia. He reportedly bought his own stack of jerseys from a local store and gave them away for free.
It was said that the store staff did not initially recognize DJ Moore. However, after realizing that it was their new star WR for the Bills, they immediately acquiesced to his request.
It’s often hard for a veteran player to acclimate to his new team. But DJ Moore took all the right steps to introduce his presence in Buffalo.
