Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward has opened up on why he got upset with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen on Sunday.
The Bills snagged a 26-7 win on the road in Week 13, much to Heyward’s annoyance, and he was seen getting in the quarterback’s face several times during the game, something thought to be uncharacteristic.

Reporters questioned him about it after the loss, and he claimed to have taken a cheap shot from the QB, who he says confessed to giving him a knee to the stomach.
“Being kneed in my stomach, and then jawing back and forth. And I’m ticked off the entire game because, as a quarterback, they’re protected, but I’m not,” he said. “This pisses me off.”
Asked whether Allen’s actions were deliberate, the Steelers star said, “Yes!”
“He even said after, ‘I had to do something to get you off me’.”

Allen has not addressed the exchanges but could do so when he speaks to reporters again later this week, given what Heyward said.
Turns out, Heyward was hardly the only one who was ticked off during the game. Tony Romo was pretty livid as well.
