Chiefs Reporter Leaks New Photo Of Travis Kelce’s Belly After Viral “Fat” Claims

A Kansas City Chiefs reporter has stepped in to correct the internet after supposed manipulated images of Travis Kelce’s physique spread over the weekend.

Kansas City Star reporter Jesse Newell posted a fresh training camp photo on Monday showing the veteran tight end walking into practice. He explained that the image was meant to counter the viral “beer gut” clip circulating online.

“Because I saw the fake Travis Kelce beer gut AI practice video about 10 times this weekend … here is what Travis Kelce looks like at Chiefs camp this morning,” Newell wrote.

The photo shows Kelce in Chiefs training gear carrying his helmet as he heads toward practice. He appears leaner than the altered images that fueled days of online discussion.

The clarification comes only days after photos and videos circulated online claiming Kelce had reported to camp with a noticeable “dad bod.” 

Some social media users even joked that his recent marriage to Taylor Swift had led to the veteran tight end putting on extra weight.

Fans did not seem to care for the new photo, however.

“Thank you for this very important update,” one wrote, sarcastically. “The world was concerned and now you have put all our fears at ease.”

“Do people really care about Kelce’s physique?” another asked. 

One fan said, “I prefer fat Travis Kelce, thanks.”

“Or is THIS the AI picture?!?!” someone else asked.

Kelce is preparing for his 14th NFL season, as he aims to lengthen one of the greatest careers ever by a tight end. The three-time Super Bowl champion remains a central piece of Kansas City’s offense as the Chiefs chase another title.

It appears he’s likely to wait til retirement to really start going in on Taylor’s cooking.
