The Daejon Love scam became one of the biggest topics of the 2026 NFL offseason. After Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel became old news, a man posing as a San Francisco 49ers wide receiver stole the spotlight.
Multiple alleged victims claimed Love persuaded them to invest large sums of money to get a huge return on investment (ROI). Initially, Love allegedly scammed women out of $1.3 million.
In August, 35 new victims stepped forward, adding to a case that already flooded social media. Details about this alleged scam remain undisclosed, and one of the biggest streaming companies in the world is working to shed light on it.
