Following the 24-16 upset loss to the Buccaneers, a tense confrontation unfolded inside the AT&T Stadium tunnel with Dak Prescott and a contractor.

As Dak walked toward the locker room, a stadium contractor yelled, “Embarrassing!” to mock the team. The quarterback immediately halted his stride and turned his head to glare back at the group. He called the vocal worker a “tough guy” for shouting the insult under his breath. Next, Prescott called him out for waiting until he turned his head to speak again.

The frustrated quarterback demanded the worker’s immediate removal, saying, “Get his a– outta here.”

The contractor was later identified as a third-party car service worker rather than a direct team employee. Security personnel acted quickly and escorted the contract worker completely out of the venue following the incident.

Following his viral tunnel altercation, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott openly addressed the situation during his postgame press conference.

Prescott focused his media comments primarily on the contractor’s behavior rather than the specific insult itself. He explained the encounter by saying, “When he said it, I just happened to look at him, and at that point, he looked away and didn’t look.” The quarterback noticed the heckler only chose to speak up again once his back was turned. Prescott noted, “And when I turned my head back, he said something else.”

Consequently, the quarterback felt the individual lacked the courage to stand behind his own words. Prescott explicitly stated, “That’s the part that as a man or as a person, feel free to speak your mind, just speak it.” He strongly criticized the worker’s avoidance, concluding with the quote, “Don’t cower away from the reaction you’re going to get.” Ultimately, Prescott admitted the driver was not entirely wrong because the game was a matchup Dallas should have won.

Instead of being over .500, the team dropped to 2-3 and is not looking like the Super Bowl contender people thought they would be.
