Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys suffered a stunning home loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football.
Dallas entered the game as heavy favorites against a winless Tampa Bay squad. The Cowboys started well and took an early lead at AT&T Stadium. However, the Buccaneers completely dominated the third quarter by scoring 17 unanswered points. Running back Bucky Irving shredded the Dallas defense for a career-high 165 rushing yards. Meanwhile, undrafted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels safely guided the Tampa Bay offense without committing any turnovers.
This was not the outcome that anybody in the building saw coming.
Dak Prescott Reacts to the Tunnel Callout

Following the 24-16 upset loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a viral incident occurred in the AT&T Stadium tunnel.
As Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott walked toward the locker room, a stadium worker loudly shouted, “Embarrassing.” Prescott immediately stopped and turned his head to confront the individual, who was later identified as a third-party car service contractor.
Tensions flared further when Prescott pointed the worker out to stadium staff and a team coach. Footage captured the visibly irritated quarterback calling the contractor a “tough guy” and demanding his immediate removal. Prescott explicitly told a nearby stadium employee, “Get his ass outta here.”
During his postgame press conference, Dak Prescott elaborated on why the interaction bothered him so much.
“When he said it, I just happened to look at him, and at that point, he looked away,” Prescott explained. “And when I turned my head back, he said something else. And so that’s the part that, just as a man or as just a person, feel free to speak your mind — just speak it. Don’t cower away from the reaction that you’re going to get.”
The quarterback added that if someone wants to call the team out, they should say it directly to him instead of backtracking. Additionally, Prescott noted he hesitated to use that specific label himself because he felt it discredited the Buccaneers’ winning coaching staff.
