Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Fires Back At Critics Of Her Husband

Reece Weaver has responded to the hate aimed at her husband after some fans questioned why she left the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
Weaver announced she was leaving at the end of Season 3 of America’s Sweethearts. She became one of the squad’s most popular members and built a large social media following. Although she did not explain exactly why she left, she said she wants to focus on new opportunities. Last month, another popular member also left the squad, which surprised fans.
After the announcement, some fans blamed her husband, Will Allman. The couple met at the University of Alabama, got married in their early 20s, and now live in Alabama. Because they often talk about their Christian faith, some viewers claimed Allman wanted Weaver to quit cheerleading and stay home in a more traditional role.
Fans Question The Decision As Couple Responds

Weaver rejected that idea during an interview with The Wall Street Journal. She said the online claims frustrated her because they did not reflect reality.
“It makes me frustrated, because that could not be more far from the truth,” Weaver told the publication. “He was so supportive, no matter what decision I made.”
Allman also dismissed the criticism. He said he expected fans to look for someone to blame because of Weaver’s popularity.
“Reece is a bunch of people’s favorites,” he said. “Those people are going to find something else to blame if I wasn’t there, so it doesn’t really affect me a whole lot.”
Despite those comments, some fans continued to question his role.
One Reddit user wrote, “So supportive that he pressured her to quit while pretending he wasn’t pressuring her.”
Another fan posted, “‘I’ll do whatever you need,’ he says as he wears his Alabama shirt, looking depressed.”
Allman has also built his own social media presence. He shares cooking videos and supports Weaver’s growing career as a content creator.
His comments from Season 1 of America’s Sweethearts also highlighted how he views their relationship.
“I really didn’t have any, like, massive dreams or anything, so I was like, ‘My dream is to pursue this woman,’” Allman said.
He also told The Wall Street Journal that he hopes his own online content succeeds, but his wife’s career remains his priority.
“I’d love to see it be successful,” he said of his cooking videos. “But I’d love to see my wife successful 10 times more.”
For now, Weaver has made it clear that the decision to leave the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders came from her own choice.
