EA Sports Is Being Praised After Releasing The “Best Video Game Commercial Ever” For ‘Madden 27’ [VIDEO]

EA Sports shared details on the upcoming edition of their NFL video game, “Madden 27,” in recent days. Rumors said Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams would grace the cover of the new installment, which was confirmed earlier this week.

Additionally, they released the official trailer on Thursday. It featured Hollywood star Vince Vaughn as a coach who led the Chicago Bears to an undefeated season, shutting out all of their opponents in the process.

He became the team’s general manager, too, describing the new features the game will have, which include contract pitches, bonuses, firm holds and more. It included references to players using the same play and even a dig at Tom Brady.

The trailer ends with Vaughn becoming the team’s quarterback.

The comments section was full of positive notes about the new installment of the video game. Plenty of fans praised the company for generating this hype.

“we prayed for times like these,” one said.

“Might be the best commercial for a video game we’ve EVER seen,” former player Taylor Lewan wrote.

“I felt like this when I was young when I played this,” somebody said.

“This is GREAT advertising. Brilliant idea. Perfect casting. Great cameos. Cinema quality. Perfect,” one added.

“This is the most excited I’ve been for Madden in over a decade,” somebody commented.

“This is one of the best trailers I’ve ever seen, movie, game, commercial. Let’s f—ing go,” one said.

Early access begins August 16.
