Former internet personality Bryant Turhan Emmerson Moreland, widely known as EDP445, no longer has his freedom.

He has been caught and arrested for something he attempted years ago. Let’s take you back to 2021, when Moreland traveled to an apartment complex in Bakersfield, California. At the time, he thought he was meeting up with a 13-year-old girl.

Unfortunately for him, it was a setup orchestrated by online predator catchers. At the time, no criminal charges were filed because initial investigations stalled due to a lack of cooperation.

The case on EDP445 basically died, and he remained a free man. However, that would all change, and it was all because of his own admission.

EDP445 Finally Arrested After Years of Allegations

Interest in the case involving the former YouTuber was revived in 2026 with the release of the documentary “The Sick Mind of EDP445.” In that film, he actually sat down for an interview with former To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen.

In the doc, he openly admitted, “I showed up that day trying to meet up with an underage girl.” It was truly shocking to hear. Why would he admit it? No one knows, but the long arm of the law was listening. Maybe he thought there were enough years between what he did and when any charges would be filed.

The Kern County District Attorney’s Office re-examined the case and determined that the new admissions provided sufficient evidence to file charges.

EDP445 was arrested in Las Vegas.

Consequently, he was charged with attempted lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14, going to an arranged meeting with a minor, contacting a minor with sexual intent, and sending pornography with the intent to seduce a minor.

Now, instead of ranting on videos, he might be in danger and facing real prison time.
