The league shared everything on Thursday night, with some decisions being celebrated, but others, such as the record-breaking nine international games, the Monday Night Football game between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons, drew criticism.

Another one joined the list. This year’s Thanksgiving Day slate will feature a heavyweight fight between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. NBC will air it, meaning Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth will be in the booth.

Fans had a lot to say about this decision. They flooded social media with negative comments, mostly predicting that Collinsworth will be unbearable during the game.

“Not sure Collinsworth can handle a Mahomes-Allen Thanksgiving showdown. Could be very NSFW,” one fan said.

Collinsworth has been known for being too enthusiastic about Patrick Mahomes, mentioning the Chiefs’ quarterback more than necessary, sometimes even when he isn’t even on the field. Josh Allen appears to be his favorite, too, so it will be interesting to see how this situation unfolds.
