Caleb Williams had a terrific 2025 NFL season, elevating his game after a rocky rookie season. Ben Johnson gave him the tools to enhance his performance, and Williams responded by leading the team to an 11-6 record and the NFC North title.
Amid struggles from the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings, Williams and Co. emerged victorious. They went all the way to the divisional round, losing to the Los Angeles Rams in a nail-biter.
On Saturday, an image of Williams doing his iconic “Iceman” pose for the cover of Madden 27 went viral. The image has racked up 3.3 million views at the time of writing.
Is Caleb Williams Actually On Madden 27 Cover?

After Josh Allen (2024), Christian McCaffrey (2025) and Saquon Barkley (2026) featured on the cover, Williams appeared to be next. However, other than the image shared by Sleeper, nobody else has reported on this.

While Williams is a solid candidate to grace the cover, EA Sports or any NFL insider has yet to report whether he’ll do it.
He set the team’s single-season record for passing yards (3,942) while throwing 27 touchdowns with seven interceptions.
