New York Giants Fans Are Demanding A Trade Following Jaxson Dart-Abdul Carter Drama Over President Donald Trump

Many New York Giants fans are calling for a trade involving Abdul Carter. The second-year defensive end starred in a controversy when he called out teammate Jaxson Dart after he introduced Donald Trump at a New York rally.

They apparently made amends on Friday, embracing each other as they arrived at the field. Carter spoke about the situation, explaining his mindset.

“Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things,” he told reporters. “Jaxson is one of our leaders – he’s the face of our franchise. He represents himself and what he does, and he represents all of us.

“If he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it’s my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I’m against that, but to show the world.”

New York Giants Fans Want Abdul Carter Traded

Many fans took issue with Carter’s words, with some calling for the team to trade the Penn State product before the situation gets worse.

“Abdul is a j–koff… I hope the Giants trade him before the season starts,” one fan said.

“Time to trade away Abdul Carter for some late round picks before it’s too late,” another fan said.

“Abdul Carter should be cut from the team for making a big deal over this,” a third fan wrote.

“The @Giants need to cut this clown. He’s easily replaced. A franchise QB isn’t. Carter is a self-important distraction and will continue to be a problem, because he’s too busy seeking the limelight,” a fourth fan commented.

“Carter is exact the kind of player you want nowhere near your facility. Drama queen with his abilities nowhere near where they are in his own imagination,” a fifth fan added.

“Should this continue, Carter will be traded and Dart retained. QBs are much more difficult to replace,” a sixth fan noted.

Carter was involved in a couple of controversies last season. Some fans have had enough of his antics and want him out of the team soon.
