The Detroit Lions made their case Sunday that they’re the best team in the NFC North when they faced the Minnesota Vikings. It was a chaotic fourth quarter that saw Jared Goff throw a go-ahead, 7-yard touchdown pass to Jameson Williams.
Consequently, it handed the NFL’s last undefeated team its first loss. Even when it was over, Minnesota still was willing to fight for their undefeated record.
With no timeouts left, all Detroit had to do was kneel to end the game. However, the opposition wasn’t going to allow it to happen so easily.
