The Dianna Russini files are still open, and Tony Farmer is still digging.

Farmer, a football podcast host, has been on the case since the New York Post broke it open. Just this week, he shared a screenshot of an old Russini report backing Mike Vrabel to remain as the Tennessee Titans head coach.

The Titans would fire Vrabel less than two months later.

Farmer has since discovered an old clip of Russini taking a charge during a charity basketball game.

Check it out right below:

“I thought this would be about how she went from the ground back to her feet,” one comment read.

“How do you even find this 😭😭,” someone asked.

“Clear blocking foul, no question about it,” someone else observed.

“Had she put her arms down would have been a solid defense play, her feet were actually set. Her arms made contact though before he made contact knocking her over,” a user offered.

“had she coverd the NBA she would still be worked did u hear of rachel nichols  jimmy butler in the bubble,” someone suggested.

Dianna Russini had been covering the NFL for many years before quitting The Athletic, but her passion may have stemmed from other sports.

The reporter was a standout player at Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan, New Jersey. She also played soccer, softball and ran track.

She helped the school to four league titles and a Bergen County finals appearance during her time there.

Russini received several D1 college scholarship offers but opted to play soccer at George Mason University instead.
