On Wednesday night, a chaotic brawl broke out in the stands at Lumen Field during the highly anticipated NFL season opener between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.

The physical altercation occurred in section 314 when a Patriots fan reportedly tried to claim empty seats belonging to other spectators. When the actual seat owners returned, the visitor allegedly refused to move and began aggressively jawing at the surrounding crowd. Consequently, stadium ushers were called in to handle the situation before it could worsen.
The confrontation instantly turned violent when the unruly fan ran into and knocked over an elderly staff member. Viral video footage capturing the chaos showed one individual nearly falling over the stadium railing during the scuffle.
