Jaguars WR Parker Washington’s Voice Is Going Viral — No One Expected Him To Sound Like This [VIDEO]

Parker Washington answered contract questions in a Jaguars locker-room scrum Thursday, and the internet immediately froze on his voice.

Dov Kleiman posted the Action Sports Jax clip. Fans said the 24-year-old wide receiver sounds like Chad Powers, the Eli Manning alter ego from the old TV bit.

Washington was not doing bits. He was talking about a deal that still is not done before Sunday’s opener against Cleveland.

“We’re still having that communication, that dialogue,” he said. “I have updates from my agent each and every day, and I’m having great talks with my family. But, for me, it’s my job to stay out here and stay ready to go.”

He laughed when a reporter asked who would break the news first.

“I don’t know who posts first when something happens, so I guess we’ll find out together.”

Parker Washington Keeps The Contract Talk Quiet

That is the same line he gave Ryan O’Halloran earlier this week.

“The talks are continuing. I want to be here. The Jags want me to be here.”

General manager James Gladstone has said Jacksonville is fine negotiating in season. Washington would rather close it before kickoff.

Adam Schefter told Pat McAfee he expects some extensions before Week 1 and named Washington as one to watch.

Meanwhile, fans had a lot to say about his voice.

“He sounds like Bruce from Family guy😂,” one said.

“He sounds like EXACTLY Barry Bonds! Good luck to him this season!” another wrote.

“Why did I draft Parker Washington in all my fantasy leagues without knowing he talks and sounds exactly like Chad Powers?” another questioned.

“Today I learned Parker Washington sounds like Napoleon Dynamite’s brother,” one added.

He closed 2025 with three 100-yard games in his final four appearances, including the playoffs. The wild-card loss to Buffalo still stings because Trevor Lawrence missed him on the last throw. Washington was open. Cole Bishop picked the other option.

Parker Washington Walks Into Week 1 As The WR1

Jacksonville now treats him like the featured receiver next to Brian Thomas Jr. and Jakobi Meyers. Thomas had a shoulder scare in a joint practice with Tampa Bay. Hunter is expected to spend more snaps at corner. That leaves Washington as the safest target for Lawrence on Sunday at EverBank Stadium.

He sat out the preseason games after an undisclosed injury in August, then returned to practice against the Buccaneers. The Jaguars have been reluctant to take him off the field since the late-season surge.
