Incredible Seinfeld Secret Revealed About Larry David’s Bizarre Encounter With O.J. Simpson On Day Of Ex-Wife’s Murder

A fascinating piece of television history can be directly attributed to Lrry David running into OJ Simpson back in the 90s.
In a new authorized biography, David revealed that he spotted Simpson at a Los Angeles country club on June 12, 1994. That was hours before the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
Consequently, David’s run-in would become an episode of Seinfeld.
OJ Simpson Encounter Linked to Seinfeld Episode

In the Season 6 episode of Seinfeld titled “The Big Salad,” Larry David connects the storyline to the OJ Simpson highway chase. In that episode, Seinfeld’s friend Newman buys a white Ford Bronco right after the famous police pursuit occurred.
As the world knows, the purchase mirrored the real-world events involving Simpson from June 1994, when he fled from law enforcement. Back to the episode, Newman drives the vehicle wearing a polo shirt that closely resembles the one Simpson wore.
During the June 17, 1994, low-speed police chase, Simpson famously wore a dark sweatshirt and dark pants while sitting in the back of the white Ford Bronco.
Furthermore, the episode also featured the same slow-speed chase that OJ experienced. The episode ended with Kramer yelling the same infamous line as Al Cowlings: “You know who I am, damn it!”
A jury acquitted Simpson of the murders, so he never went to prison for those crimes. However, police arrested him in 2007, and a court convicted him in 2008 for a Las Vegas sports memorabilia armed robbery and kidnapping. A judge handed down a sentence of 33 years with parole eligibility after 9 years. After authorities released him, he spent the rest of his years in Las Vegas.
Larry David’s first authorized biography, Emperor of Nothing: The Making of Larry David, is scheduled for release on October 20.
OJ Simpson died in April 2024 at the age of 76 from metastatic prostate cancer.
