Jaxson Dart raised plenty of eyebrows last week when he made a surprise appearance at a Donald Trump rally. He introduced the president to the crowd in New York, which sparked a lot of reactions.

Even teammate Abdul Carter took issue with Dart’s decision, calling him out on social media. On Friday, the two players made amends, but the situation hasn’t completely faded away.

Dart became one of the most beloved players on the Giants last season, but things changed after he appeared at the rally. On the other hand, he received support for the same.

Considering his support for Donald Trump and his jersey number (#6), Polymarket Football came up with a wild nickname for the young quarterback.

“Is ‘January 6’ the coldest nickname in the NFL?” the account wrote.

This is a reference to January 6, 2021, the day plenty of Donald Trump supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol. They attempted to disrupt Congress’s certification of the 2020 presidential election results.

As a result, over 140 law enforcement officers were injured, and multiple people died as a direct or indirect result of the riot.

It was a dark day for the United States, so it’s hard to imagine the nickname will stick.
