Kealia Watt has fans talking again, and this time it has nothing to do with football.

The wife of NFL legend J.J. Watt shared a post to her Instagram page that drew plenty of attention over the weekend. The post, originally shared in 2023, included a short video of Watt showing off her swimsuit in the pool. She captioned the post simply “Gozzer Summer.”

The comments section filled up fast. Fans called the photo stunning, with several praising her looks and calling it one of her best posts yet. It’s the kind of reaction that has become routine for Kealia, who has built a substantial following of her own well beyond her connection to J.J.

“Stunning!” one added.

“THE BEST 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽,” one said.

“Wow, beautiful views!” one commented.

“The best, ever,” another wrote.

This isn’t the first time Kealia has generated buzz with a vacation photo. She previously drew a similar reaction after sharing bikini pictures from a trip a couple of summers ago, a post that had fans equally captivated at the time.

Kealia Watt Is Far More Than Just J.J. Watt’s Wife

Before she was known as an NFL wife, Kealia built her own impressive résumé on the soccer field. She starred at North Carolina, where she helped the Tar Heels win a national championship, before going on to play professionally for the Houston Dash and Chicago Red Stars in the NWSL. She also earned caps with the U.S. Women’s National Team, scoring one of the fastest goals in program history during her international debut.

J.J. has never been shy about making sure people remember that résumé. Just days ago, he publicly defended her soccer legacy after an MLS franchise’s social media post seemed to overlook her accomplishments, listing out her state championships, national awards and record-setting career achievements in detail. It wasn’t the first time he’s stood up for her online, either, having previously called out a news outlet for leaving her name out of a headline about her own trade.

These days, Kealia stays connected to sports through The Ohai Foundation, which she founded to support youth athletics and leadership development, along with partnerships with brands like Puma. Between her advocacy work and moments like this weekend’s photo, it’s clear Kealia has carved out a lane entirely her own, one that has nothing to do with sharing a last name with a future Hall of Famer.
