Carson Beck appears to have come a long way in a short amount of time. The former Georgia Bulldogs and Miami Hurricanes star quarterback entered the NFL draft surrounded by doubts, and it took him until the third round to hear his name called.

Beck joined a team with a clear starter: Jacoby Brissett, and a clear backup: Gardner Minshew. He should be the third-string quarterback in 2026, hoping that he can develop into a starter at some point.

The Cardinals will face a tough season that could put them in a position to select Arch Manning or Dante Moore in the 2027 draft. However, Beck could change those plans. A video of his performance at practice hit social media on Tuesday, showing glimpses of his talent.

As soon as the video saw the light, many said Beck could climb on the pecking order and start over Brissett and Minshew.

“Nah bro, let him walk. Carson is the long term answer. Might as well get it going right away !” one fan said.

“Cardinals got their guy. F–k the broncos by the way,” another fan said.

“Carson missed all of spring last season, had to adjust to throwing with his repaired ucl, learn a new offense and teammate tendencies. He got really comfortable about the time the Canes went on their run at the end of the season. Arizona got a good one,” a third fan said.

“The Cardinals have nothing to lose starting Beck. Jacoby holding out after going 1-11 is tomfoolery. We’re already predicted to lose every game. If Beck can’t handle it, start Minshew. Tank for Manning. Though I still think our offense will make any QB look good,” a fourth fan wrote.

“They should just let Carson play tbh. Gain nothing with Jacoby playing. Just grab another Vet off the street and keep it pushing lol,” a fifth fan said.

“carson will definitely be the starter soon, this aint tyson begent or Stetson Bennet! he can do ut,” a sixth fan wrote.

As solid as he looks on tape, the Cardinals are in no rush to compete. They would be better off letting Beck come in slowly and not rush anything.
