A Los Angeles Rams doctor found himself under investigation following a report tied to Conor McGregor’s decision to use performance-enhancing drugs.
The Irish MMA superstar suffered a serious leg injury during his 2021 fight against Dustin Poirier, his last UFC bout to date. Reports suggested that the former two-time division champion used PEDs during his recovery from this injury.
Rams doctor Neal ElAttrache performed the surgery and supported the use of the banned substances. This caught the attention of MLB since the doctor also works for the defending back-to-back champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
MLB Investigating Los Angeles Rams Doctor

Given MLB’s policy against PEDs, the league reportedly launched an investigation into ElAttrache to see if he ever prescribed these substances to any baseball player.
“Investigators for Major League Baseball in the coming weeks will question the Los Angeles Dodgers’ team doctor, Neal ElAttrache, after the disclosure that he supported a top Ultimate Fighting Championship star’s use of performance-enhancing drugs as he recovered from an injury, according to two people briefed on the matter,” Michael S. Schmidt of The New York Times reported.
If the NFL decides to launch its own investigation, the situation might get dark for ElAttrache and the Los Angeles Rams.
