Sophie Scott is enjoying a glamorous stretch on the Amalfi Coast. The former girlfriend of Mac Jones posted recent Instagram photos from Positano that show her relaxed and stylish after their reported split.
Jones and Scott dated since their University of Alabama days in 2019 and later moved together to Boston after the Patriots drafted him. The pair separated earlier this year without a public explanation.

Scott appeared in a blue bikini, sunglasses, and a beige sun hat during a pool day at Le Sirenuse hotel.

She currently lists Nashville as her base. The posts project an easy, carefree vibe that contrasts with the more private nature of the breakup itself.
The couple had been together through Jones’ time in New England and his 2024 stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars. They attended events such as the ESPYs together before the relationship ended.
Jones revived his career after he joined the San Francisco 49ers ahead of the 2025 season. He posted a 5-3 record while filling in for Brock Purdy, which turned many heads around the league. Now, Jones could join a different team.
Giants List Mac Jones Among Potential QB Options
While Scott enjoys life in Europe, Mac Jones has entered the broader quarterback conversation for the New York Giants.
According to a report from Tom Pelissero, Jones appears on a list of potential options that also includes JJ McCarthy, Spencer Rattler, Justin Fields, Joe Milton, and Jimmy Garoppolo.
“Several quarterbacks have garnered trade interest around the league in recent months, including the 49ers’ Mac Jones, the Vikings’ J.J. McCarthy, and the Saints’ Spencer Rattler,” Pelissero wrote. “Other current backups, such as the Chiefs’ Justin Fields or even Dallas’s Joe Milton (who could be signed off the practice squad), also could be options depending on how the Giants want the offense to evolve without Dart. And while free-agent options are limited, Jimmy Garoppolo is available if he decides he wants to play again.”
Jones is in the final year of a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers and will become a free agent after the season. The inclusion on the Giants’ radar adds another layer to his professional outlook while his personal life continues to draw attention through Scott’s public posts.
