The Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini chatter has died down in recent weeks. But things will likely stir up again once next season starts.

And, according to one social media account, we won’t even have to wait that long. ‘Madden 27’ is set for release in mid-August, and Vrabel will have some involvement, given his position as a head coach.

The Football Crave account on X has shared a clip they claim is from the upcoming game. It shows the Patriots HC walking through a hotel corridor, with a “coaching objective” directing him to “Find Dianna’s room.”

Vrabel’s mobile phone rings, and he pulls it out of his pocket. His wife, Jen, is calling, leaving the player with three options.

They can either say he’s busy, confess to an affair or ignore the call. They go with the latter, then Vrabel says, “smells like fish, she must be close.”

“Madden 27 reportedly adds new “Coaching Objectives” including this one as Patriots Head Coach Mike Vrabel,” the video’s caption reads.

“Yeah this earned a follow,” a fan commented.

“Send a massage to AJ Brown,” another added.

“”Smells like fish, she must be close” 💀,” someone wrote.

Another user asked, “Is Aaron Hernandez unlockable?”

It’s Been A Turbulent Offseason For Mike Vrabel

In case you’re unaware, this all stems from Vrabel and Russini getting caught on the roof of an adults-only hotel in Arizona back in April.

The coach and reporter were shown hugging, interlocking fingers and lounging poolside while unaware they were being photographed.

Since then, photos of them kissing and footage of them taking a boat out to sea have surfaced online. One person even claimed to have witnessed Vrabel smacking Russini on the butt at this year’s Combine.

Russini stepped down from her post as football newsbreaker for The Athletic after the outlet began an investigation.

Vrabel kept his job, which is why he’s set to feature in the upcoming ‘Madden’ game.
