U.S. President Donald Trump shared details of his encounter with New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart last week.
The second-year playmaker introduced the polarizing politician at a rally in New York, which sparked plenty of controversy on social media. Teammate Abdul Carter called out Dart on X, seemingly dividing the locker room for a couple of days.
Things seem better between the players, but the conversation is still there. Meanwhile, Donald Trump offered new details of the meeting.

During a sit-down interview with Fox News, Trump revealed that Dart told him he had given his vote to Trump.
“So, when Jaxson gets harassed a little bit, he’s also loved more,” Trump said. “Because we have more people than they do. And a lot of the people that you think, like people in Los Angeles, wealthy people that I see them all the time there, hitting me a little bit, and they meet me, they say, ‘Sir, I voted for you.’ I said, ‘I know. I know. I can tell.’ Guys voted for me.”
