Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Drops Cryptic Social Media Hint Ahead of Key Deadline
This article was originally published on Total Pro Sports.

Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson has been known for dropping cryptic messages on social media. Jackson has frequently used cryptic social media messages to express frustration regarding contract negotiations and team performance.
He was back at it again on Friday. He seemingly knows something the general public does not when it comes to a possible blockbuster move by his team this offseason. And he indicated as much with a cryptic social media post on Friday, simply putting the super-happy smiling face emoji on his X account. That was accompanied by a Denzel Washington “Boom” meme from his Academy Award-winning performance in “Training Day.”

He followed his X post with several Instagram stories, including 1 of him praying in the Ravens locker room, captioned “Thank You Jesus” and featuring a prayer hands emoji, along with a selfie of his new haircut.
Lamar Jackson’s tweet could be about anything. There have been many trade rumors surrounding his name this offseason. The team also traded for superstar pass-rusher Maxx Crosby shortly after. Maybe it had something to do with that? In the end, we may never find out the truth.
Lamar Jackson And The Ravens Are Running Out of Time

Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson is less than a year away from being 30 years old.
The three-time All-Pro and two-time NFL MVP has yet to sniff a Super Bowl appearance despite all of his accolades. Jackson will be plenty motivated for revenge in 2026. The 29-year-old dealt with a litany of injuries throughout last season.
They fought back to try and make the postseason, but got screwed by their kicker in a win-and-you’re-in Week 18 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens lost on a missed Tyler Loop field goal as time expired. Baltimore finished 8-9 and missed the playoffs for the first time in four years.
Jackson posted 2,549 yards, 21 touchdowns, and seven interceptions on 63.6% completion across 13 games in 2025. How many more times will they have a chance to get to the Super Bowl before that window closes for good?
