Shilo Sanders found himself in a complex situation while filming his latest YouTube video. After his NFL dream came to an abrupt end in the 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers preseason finale, the former University of Colorado star focused on his music career and content creation.

He is a YouTuber/streamer now, drawing more attention after his NFL journey ended. On Sunday, Sanders shared a shocking video of his trip to West Palm Beach. He tried to review the famous “Hook Fish & Chicken” when things got quickly out of control.

As he tried to order, a random guy approached Shilo and his friend, telling them he came from the hood. The situation escalated when the man said, “y’all don’t do s–t for us” after Shilo had exited the spot. Once this person said, “this b—h could flood any minute,” Sanders got in his car again and left that place.

Sanders simply turned off the engine and got away from that place. He then explained why the man took issue with his presence there.

“So look y’all, we just had a dude that was waiting in line. He just was talking about, ‘Oh, I know who you are.’ Like he was talking about Deion Sanders and stuff like he was being weird. I don’t know what type of guy he is, bro, but he just was going crazy. Like, he’s like, schizophrenic. It seemed like he was tweaking, bro. And he just escalated it himself like out of his own brain. Like I don’t understand why. I don’t understand what he got against Deion Sanders, but he tripping.

“But I’m not going to stick around and find out cuz I don’t want to have to do nothing and then I have to fill out the paperwork or someone mess around and try to harm me or do something to me. So I had to just get up out of there.”

Sanders had legal trouble before, when John Darjean accused him of assault during a 2015 confrontation at a school in Dallas. That situation led Sanders to file for bankruptcy in a case that hasn’t been resolved.

He made the right decision and left unharmed.
