Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly celebrated their wedding with about 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The large guest list made it one of the biggest celebrity weddings in recent years.
However, a new report says the dinner service did not go smoothly. According to TMZ Sports, the couple did not have a traditional sit-down dinner. Instead, guests got their food from several buffet stations set up around the venue.
The buffet offered many food options, but it also led to long lines and not enough seating for everyone. Many people had wondered how Swift and Kelce would feed such a large crowd, and the report suggests that serving hundreds of guests at the same time turned out to be a challenge.
Guests Dealt With Long Lines And Limited Seating

TMZ Sports reported that guests waited in lengthy buffet lines before looking for places to sit. The outlet said the wedding did not include a formal plated dinner. Instead, staff members served food directly onto guests’ plates at different stations across the arena.
One guest described the dinner experience to TMZ Sports as “a bit of a (expletive) show.” According to the report, the biggest issue involved the number of people compared with the available seating. Guests reportedly spent time searching for open seats after collecting their meals.
Despite the delays, the report said guests had plenty of food to choose from. The menu included pasta, sushi, chicken, salads, filet mignon, and a variety of Chinese, Italian, and American dishes. Staff members stayed at each food station to keep the lines moving and serve everyone.
However, the outlet also reported that no one left the wedding hungry. Even though guests had to wait in line, there was enough food for everyone.
In the end, the dinner issues did not take away from the celebration. Hosting about 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden was always going to be a huge task.
